Finance Business Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Finance Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capability with hands‑on finance experience, and who is confident partnering with stakeholders to improve processes, systems, and financial controls.
As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance, driving operational efficiency, and delivering insight that informs decision‑making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
2. Support the design, documentation, and optimisation of finance processes.
3. Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities.
4. Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams to gather and refine business requirements.
5. Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools.
6. Produce clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
7. Support process improvement initiatives and change management activities.
Key Skills & Experience
8. Proven experience as a Finance Business Analyst or in a similar analytical finance role.
9. Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and reporting.
10. Experience in credit control or insurance broking accounting (essential).
11. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
12. Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into meaningful recommendations.
13. Proficiency in financial systems and tools (., Excel, ERP platforms, BI tools).
14. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
