Location: Aberystwyth
Salary: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role
As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan. You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication. There will be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in. The organisation provides residential care for seven adults with intellectual disabilities. Their team provide positive behaviour support to ensure that those in their care are enabled to live a flourishing life.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and encouragement by taking direction from the person supported and the person centred support plan.
* Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
* Administer personal care and medication as required.
* Cover sleep-in sessions as needed (additional £60 per sleep-in).
* Support residents within a residential setting for adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Contribute to positive behaviour support to enable residents to live flourishing lives.
