Role: Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer
Location: Hemel Hempstead / Swindon / Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Door to Door Pay
Hours: 40 hours per week
On Call: 1 in 5 (£160 standby, OT x1.5)
Holidays: 28 days holiday + Pension + Long-term career stability

The Role
We’re now looking for an experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our expanding team covering Hemel / Swindon and Oxford.
You’ll be responsible for service, maintenance, and installation works across a range of commercial sites, including pubs, schools, care homes, and hotels.
Typical equipment includes:
* Cold Rooms
* Bottle Coolers / Under Counter Fridges / Freezers
* Ice Machines
* VRV / VRF Systems
Split Systems Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintenance and repair of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
* Installation of new systems when required
* Fault‑finding and diagnostics on site
* Ensuring all work complies with current health and safety standards
* Providing high‑quality service and advice to customers
Requirements
* ✅ NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or FGAS certification
* ✅ Proven experience with commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
* ✅ Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability
* ✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills
* ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
