Based in Caerphilly, the position involves providing therapeutic care and support to residents with complex needs, including Autism. Your responsibilities will include observing, monitoring, and accurately recording residents’ conditions, assisting individuals towards greater independence, and delivering personalised care in a respectful and compassionate manner. Collaborating with a team of multi-professionals to ensure effective, person-centred support is essential in this role.
Candidates must have a minimum of six months’ experience in a social care setting and possess an empathetic, caring, and resilient nature. A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) and a full UK driving licence are required. The role may involve paying for practical training such as manual handling or Buccal if not already completed, with online training available at no cost.
