We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join the Children In Need Team in Trafford Park. This full-time locum role offers an hourly rate of £35.00 and an ongoing contract, providing a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. You will work within our Child in Need Service, focusing on specialised assessments and supporting families through structured Child in Need planning.

What You Will Do
* Conduct social work assessments for children in need and their families.
* Participate in the duty rota, handling a varied workload including Section 47 enquiries and child and family assessments.
* Manage a caseload of children supported through Child in Need planning.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with families to empower them and support safe step-downs of plans.
* Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive approach across the borough.
