Cambian Potterspury Lodge School is a special school offering opportunities for up to 64 children and young people diagnosed with Autism and who have an EHCP. The school is well subscribed, with a strong pipeline, and our educational offer is highly valued by local authorities and parents/carers. Over the past three years, the school's academic performance has been in the top quartile for independent special schools, and the curriculum offered is appreciated by students and parents alike.
The successful applicants will need:
* Extensive experience as a Headteacher or Deputy Head in a similar SEND environment.
* Good understanding of the School Improvement process, effective curriculum models, and development of processes to help the school achieve an outstanding rating.
* Thorough knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
* Ability to motivate, support, and develop staff and pupils using a person-centered approach.
* A proactive 'can do, will do' attitude with a desire to succeed and improve the school.
* Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
