We are looking for a shop floor focused leader who thrives on driving performance, solving real world production challenges, and bringing out the best in your team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of day to day operations within a fast?paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you won’t be confined to an office. You’ll be at the heart of the action—leading by example, supporting your team directly on the shop floor, and ensuring production targets are consistently achieved with quality and efficiency. The Day to Day Leading daily production activities to ensure output, quality, and delivery targets are met. Providing accurate quotations for new jobs. Coaching and mentoring shop floor teams to drive best practice, efficiency, and safe working. Rolling up your sleeves and actively participating in production tasks when required. Identifying operational problems and implementing practical, effective solutions. Maintaining high standards of quality assurance across all processes. Working closely with senior management to champion continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. What We’re Looking For Proven production management experience within metal fabrication or manufacturing. Strong practical and technical capabilities, including the ability to diagnose and resolve workshop issues (CAD punch, press brakes, welding, fabrication). A confident leader with excellent people management skills. A natural problem solver with sound judgment and decisive thinking. Someone committed to being visible, engaged, and hands on in daily operations. Strong organisational and communication abilities. Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive under pressure.
