What you'll be doing
As a General Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assessing patients face to face, responding to their medical issues, including diagnosis, investigation, and treatment.
2. Regularly reviewing medications and monitoring repeat prescriptions.
3. Providing medical leadership and expert advice regarding medical and primary care issues to the wider healthcare team.

Qualifications required:
* MBChB or MBBS
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to undertake these qualifications

Salary and Benefits
£125,000 per year. This is a permanent, part-time position, scheduled for 22 hours per week, with the latest application 22 hours ago.
Location and Role Details
Position at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison in South Gloucestershire, easily accessible from Bristol and Gloucester. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team, providing medical leadership, and focusing on interests such as long-term conditions, sexual health, or substance misuse.
Hours: Friday 5-9 pm, covering one session of 4 hours.
