As a Bank Support Worker, you will:

1. Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes or community settings.
2. Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
3. Promote independence and support individuals to achieve their personal goals.
4. Maintain accurate records and reports.
5. Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The service promotes independence while ensuring safety and well-being. Staff support individuals with activities of daily living, community engagement, and access to meaningful opportunities that enhance their quality of life.

The service is staffed 24/7, including waking night shifts and sleep-ins. Support is typically provided on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis, although shared support may be required for group activities or outings.

At Walsingham Support, we are committed to providing high-quality care and support services. Our mission is to empower individuals to live independently and with dignity. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our team on a zero hours contract basis.

Requirements include:

* Previous experience in a similar care/support role is desirable but not essential.
* A compassionate and caring nature.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
* A valid driving license and access to a vehicle is desirable.

We seek a flexible, responsive, and experienced bank staff member capable of supporting individuals with complex needs, including those with challenging behaviors. Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches is desirable.
