Overview
32.5 hours per week, term time only plus INSET. Start date: September or October 2025. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Robert Barclay Academy. We are seeking to appoint a friendly and highly organised person to join our school working as an administration assistant on student reception. This post is varied, extremely busy and relies on the postholder maintaining a calm and professional manner at all times. You will be the first point of contact for our community, welcoming pupils, parents, staff, and other visitors, so exceptional interpersonal skills are an essential prerequisite. The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar administration environment.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for our community, welcoming pupils, parents, staff and other visitors, and maintain a calm and professional manner at all times.
* Provide administration and receptionist support in a busy school environment.
* Support routine administrative tasks as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Friendly and highly organised person with exceptional interpersonal skills.
* The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a similar administration environment.
* A professional dress code is expected.
