About the role
My client is currently delivering a major civil engineering project in Northwest Wales, valued at circa £200m. They are seeking a Monitoring Surveyor responsible for overseeing monitoring and surveying activities on site in a safe and efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include liaising with the client to verify that the setting out information is the latest available, providing existing site control to the construction team, and establishing site control where necessary. You will ensure that data, reports, and drawings of setting out and as-built surveys are produced accurately and timely, and that complex setting out tasks and dimensional checks are completed with high precision.
About you
Applicants must possess a Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience. Advanced skills in geodetic surveying and deformation monitoring are essential.
You should be able to apply technical and practical skills to interpret drawings and specifications, ensuring work is completed within established guidelines, with clear goals and consistent achievement of results.
A good understanding of legislation, hazards, safe systems of work, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines are required.
