* Attend regular client and internal meetings (e.g., design reviews, progress updates, hazard reviews).
* Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases.
* Support the Project Manager with coordination of design and procurement activities.
* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, compliance, and timely project delivery.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant standards, regulations, and company Health & Safety policies.
* Maintain effective communication between internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Ensure that projects are executed in accordance with company procedures, policies, and quality standards.

Mechanical Responsibilities

* Produce and review mechanical design documentation for pumping systems and water and wastewater treatment systems.

* Work closely with electrical and civil engineering teams to develop integrated mechanical solutions.
* Engage with the supply chain for specification, procurement, and inspection of mechanical equipment.
* Conduct site surveys and inspections for mechanical installations.
* Generate and maintain mechanical design standards for water and process‑based plants, equipment, and ancillaries.
* Provide technical support during factory acceptance tests (FATs), installation, and commissioning as required.

Electrical Responsibilities

* Evaluate client electrical design drawings, schedules, and documents for pricing and feasibility.
* Develop electrical design drawings, calculations, and documentation for cable networks and containment systems.
* Produce Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Control Philosophy documents.
* Assess client DNO supply characteristics, site earthing layouts, and lightning protection requirements.
* Prepare electrical designs, specifications, and enquiry documents for inclusion in subcontractor tender packages.
* Review and approve supplier and subcontractor electrical design drawings for compliance.
* Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and integrated FATs (iFATs).
* Generate and maintain electrical design standards for water and process‑based plants, equipment, and ancillaries.
* Deliver electrical design packages ready for construction and provide technical support during project execution.

* At least 2‑5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in managing large value projects from conception to handover.

* Water Hygiene training or a basic understanding of water and sewerage hygiene (desired).
* Experience or background in engineering, particularly in Water Utilities and/or process control/flow control/instrumentation/LV MCCs & PLCs.
* Strong communication skills for both client meetings and site team coordination.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
