Role Overview
At Northwood Hygiene Products your day begins with a clear focus:
 * Leading with humility, embedding a culture of compliance and zero‑harm.
 * Ensuring shift teams are well‑resourced and ready to roll.
 * Promoting and utilizing lean manufacturing tools across the site.
 * Liaising with Shift Managers and the CI Manager to maximise productivity, minimise waste and manage costs from waste control, labour, materials and consumables.
 * Partnering with the Engineering Manager to align planned maintenance and keep lines running smoothly.
 * Supporting and promoting the training and development of colleagues, enriching knowledge, skills and capability to ensure a multi‑skilled team.
 * Maintaining audit standards relating to BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and SMETA Sedex.
You will occasionally deputise for the Site Manager, gaining exposure to broader leadership responsibilities, overseeing multiple areas including manufacturing, P&L and budgets, and people management. This role positions you as a strong candidate for future senior roles within the business.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate
 * A hands‑on approach and willingness to support a busy team

 * At least 5 years’ Production Management experience within FMCG manufacturing environments
 * Green Belt or Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt
 * People management qualifications, e.g. ILM/CMI
 * Demonstrable experience in delivering a significant change/transformation project
