As Head of Sales, youll be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for leading and scaling the sales function to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Youll create and implement sales strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and maintain strong relationships with key clients. This position reports directly to the Group Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities
Collaborate with marketing and operations to align campaign messaging and service delivery
Team Leadership
Lead, manage and inspire the sales team to exceed individual and team targets
Set clear KPIs and sales targets; monitor and support performance improvements
Foster a high-performance culture through mentoring, coaching and team development
Business Development & Client Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Oversee large and strategic sales opportunities, ensuring a consultative approach
Represent FPL Signs at events, presentations and high-level meetings
Performance & Insight
Analyse sales data and generate regular reporting for senior leadership
Make data-driven decisions to refine processes, pricing, and approach
Track ROI on key initiatives and optimise sales funnel performance
What Were Looking For
10+ years experience in sales within the print and signage industry
Proven track record of leading successful B2B sales teams and delivering revenue growth
Strategic thinker with hands-on commercial acumen
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
Deep understanding of signage solutions, vehicle graphics, and display print
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Highly organised, results-oriented, and able to work at pace in a dynamic environment
