Building Surveyor – Permanent position based in Birmingham, West Midlands.
Job description reference: Permanent Construction Building Surveyor/Senior/Associate Management Architect and Design.
Responsibilities
* Carry out Building Surveys and provide professional advice across sectors including commercial, retail and leisure.
* Determine the condition of existing buildings, identify and analyse defects, and prepare proposals for repair.
* Prepare scheme designs with costings, advise clients on schemes and projects, determine requirements, and carry out feasibility and dilapidation reports.
* Ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget.
Qualifications and Skills
* Degree-qualified Building Surveyor.
* Experience carrying out condition surveys and delivering similar projects.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
* Familiar with AutoCAD and asset management software (e.g., KyCloud).
* Experience using tablet software to input survey data.
* Good interpersonal skills to interact with clients and determine their requirements.
