Finance Support
Finance Support - Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance
Harbour Healthcare.
Own Transport is required as travel is required.
As a Field-Based Finance Support, you play an active role in providing flexible, peripatetic administrative and Financial support across the Region. In addition, you contribute to shaping the philosophy, goals, and objectives that underpin administrative and financial practices, ensuring they remain purposeful and aligned with organizational needs. You are also responsible for evaluating standards of administrative and financial competence, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to support ongoing development, supporting new Care Home Administrators where needed, and as required.
The Finance Support responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. To maintain administrative and financial skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
2. To work within locations as required to support the Care Home management team
3. To provide administrative and financial services for the company in accordance with current best practice
4. To supervise the administrative and financial services within the company in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time
5. Develop effective working relationships with other employees
6. Support the effective resolution of team conflicts
7. Work to establish effective employer/employee relationships

8. Cooperate with the implementation, evaluation, orientation and induction of all new employees
9. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
10. Promote a positive image for the people and employees of the company
