An exciting, brand-new Head of Digital opportunity has arisen at a well‑established, industry leading membership organisation where you will be responsible for developing and delivering the digital marketing strategy for the business to drive growth, whilst ensuring they are at the forefront of new techniques, and championing a data‑driven culture within your team.
Initially you will have the chance to review and audit everything, bringing your ideas to the table to help increase engagement, improve all channels, and create change. You will also be leading across all platforms, websites and apps, to maximise user experience and ensure acquisition, retention and engagement of members. As part of this crucial role, you will lead your team of specialists, manage agency relationships, and be a key member of the senior leadership team.
Responsibilities
* Developing and owning the strategy working with senior stakeholders
* Making innovative, strategic recommendations to improve performance
* Overseeing the analysis of data to provide insights and drive decisions
* Being accountable for the development, improvement, and management of all platforms, websites and apps
* Tracking and analysing KPIs, delivering dashboards for stakeholders
* Leading, managing, developing, and motivating your team of specialists
* Budget management and ensuring it is used effectively
* Managing relationships with agencies and tech partners, maximising value and ensuring all projects are completed on time
* Working alongside other Heads of stakeholders to deliver a cohesive strategy
* Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across all activities and platforms
Qualifications
I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a Head of Digital; Head of Digital Marketing; Digital Marketing Director, Director; Marketing Lead, and who have a background in B2C marketing (the travel, leisure, tourism sectors would be very attractive). Experience working with content management systems (CMS), websites and apps, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMRush, as well as strong knowledge across SEO, PPC, CRO, content, social media and e‑mail marketing is essential. An understanding of UX principles, A/B testing and web optimisation techniques, and AI (and how it impacts what you do) is key too.
