Overview Welo Data is looking for fluent Mandarin speakers to participate in a professional studio recording project. No prior experience is required, just confidence, a clear voice, and a willingness to collaborate! This is not an acting role. We’re simply looking for individuals who can read and speak naturally, clearly, and confidently in the associated language while being recorded in a studio setting. What you will do: -Speak clearly and confidently in your dialect while reading scripts during studio sessions. -Improvise where needed to enhance the delivery and ensure natural flow. -Follow straightforward recording instructions from the studio team. No memorization required. No performance background required. Project Details Start Date: Mid Week of March Duration: 3 weeks, with the possibility of extension Commitment: 4 hours a day, up to 2 days in the studio, throughout a week. Job Type: Freelance/Independent Contract Location: Manchester (On-site in a recording studio) Language: Mandarin Putonghua Pay Rate: $46/hour Requirements: -Native-level fluency in the target language. -Comfortable speaking publicly in a professional studio setting. -Ability to improvise a basic script with a c lear, natural speaking voice -Reliable and able to attend in-person studio sessions. -Prior experience in teaching, public speaking, customer service, or similar roles is a plus — but not required.
