We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chilled Production Manager to join our team, on a rotating Dayshift and Backshift pattern. In this role, you will oversee our chilled production operations, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the chilled production facility to ensure optimal efficiency and quality output. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste and maximizing productivity. Lead, train, and develop production teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Monitor production metrics, analyse performance data, and prepare reports for upper management. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high standards of product quality and consistency. Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce costs. Requirements Proven experience in a production management role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control processes, and best practices in production management. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a focus on optimising production efficiency. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with team members and management. Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement continuous improvement practices. Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential shifts on weekends and holidays.
