About the Role:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV/Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Lockerbie. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to work in a great environment, performing a range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers
* Perform MOT preparation and inspections
* Conduct fault diagnostics using relevant equipment
* Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
* Attend to vehicle breakdowns occasionally
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an HGV or trailer mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant mechanical qualifications (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
