Senior Project Manager (Telecoms) - Contract
Location: Hybrid - Berkshire & Home Working
Contract Length: 12 months
Day Rate: Up to £500 per day outside IR35
Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Program/Project Manager with a strong background in Telecoms Networks to join our end client's team on a 12-month contract. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, confidently influence stakeholders, and take ownership of delivery across multiple projects from day one.
You will be working across a number of markets (OpCos), ensuring delivery focus, strong governance, and effective budget management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple projects/programmes within the networks space
Prioritise delivery and drive focus across cross-functional teams
Influence stakeholders and project teams immediately within a complex environment
Own and manage budget planning, tracking, and governance
Ensure high standards of reporting, risk management, and attention to detail
Communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, including senior stakeholders
Support delivery across various international markets (OpCos)
Required Experience & Skills
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager/Program Manager within Telecoms
Strong background in Network projects, ideally including IP and Connectivity
Solid experience in budget management and financial governance
Highly confident, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to step into a new environment and influence projects immediately
