Job title: Advanced Apprentice Mechanical Machinist/Setter Technician
Location: Washington
Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration.
What you’ll be doing:
* Program, set‑up, operate and manage CNC machine tools in a production environment. This highly skilled engineering role also involves working with other auxiliary equipment such as conventional machine tools, press machines, robotics and measuring systems.
* Create detailed engineering drawings and use a full range of measuring equipment.
* Gain core competencies to set and run a CNC Lathe.
* Hand fitting and polishing to a high level of accuracy.
* Supporting the running of multiple products throughout the site.
* Tool changes and programme modifications.
* Continuous Improvement.
* Health and Safety of yourself and others.
What qualification will you get?
The qualification you will achieve is: Machining technician / Skills England.
To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend TDR Training fulltime during the first year.

Qualification requirements
