Delivery Director – Major Infrastructure Programme | UK

Linum Consult’s client is delivering one of the most significant infrastructure programmes currently under construction in the United Kingdom.
Operating within a complex environment, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Delivery Director to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a major section of works within a nationally significant programme. THE ROLE
Reporting to Executive Leadership, the Delivery Director will provide strategic and operational leadership across a major portfolio of civil engineering works, ensuring the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of the programme.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the delivery of large-scale infrastructure works within a complex joint venture environment
* Providing executive leadership across multidisciplinary project teams
* Driving programme performance across safety, quality, schedule, commercial and operational objectives
* Managing key stakeholder relationships including clients, partners, regulators and supply chain organisations
* Leading contractual and commercial strategy across major works packages
* Building and developing high-performing delivery teams
* Managing programme risk, governance and performance reporting
* Supporting strategic planning and long-term programme objectives
PROFILE
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
* Proven track record delivering major UK infrastructure projects valued in excess of £500M
* Significant experience operating at Project Director, Delivery Director or Programme Director level
* Previous experience working within a joint venture delivery environment is essential
* Strong understanding of complex civil engineering and infrastructure delivery
* Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and commercial capability
* Experience delivering within highly regulated, safety-critical environments
* Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and collaborative delivery models
* Full right to live and work in the UK
