Preparation Assistant Manager - North Oxford Garage (Yarnton Site)
Salary: £28,000 basic + £4,000 OTE bonus
Location: Yarnton, Oxfordshire
We're looking for a proactive and organised Preparation Assistant Manager to join our dedicated team at the North Oxford Garage Preparation Centre in Yarnton.
In this key role, you'll support the smooth and efficient preparation of new and used vehicles, ensuring every car meets our high standards before reaching our customers. You'll also be instrumental in maintaining the daily operations of the site, working closely with our Preparation Centre Manager and stepping in to provide cover as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of all new and used vehicles, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard
* Manage or carry out photography of used sales vehicles
* Coordinate or carry out battery maintenance via our stock vehicle charging calendar
* Ensure all vehicle parking zones are well-organised and maintained
* Oversee the arrival process for new vehicles from manufacturers, including timely reporting of any transport damage
* Supervise vehicle collections from the Preparation Centre, maintaining robust security protocols
* Provide operational cover for the Preparation Centre Manager when required
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in vehicle preparation or dealership operations (preferred)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to lead by example and support a busy team environment
* Comfortable using basic IT systems for scheduling and reporting
* A flexible and can-do attitude
