Teaching Personnel are in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in Leamington Spa (CV32) to support their recruitment for a confident and experienced Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
We’re seeking a strong classroom practitioner with proven experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools. The successful candidate will be confident leading engaging lessons, driving student progress, and managing challenging behaviour effectively within the classroom.
Job Start Date: September 2026
Pay rate: To scale- MPS/UPS (Weekly pay!!)
Requirements:
UK QTS in mathematics
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for maths
Confident knowledge of mathematical concepts
Relevant, recent experience teaching maths within the UK
Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
Knowledge on how to differentiate lessons to suit pupils with additional learning needs
The Role:
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
Manage classroom behaviour confidently and consistently
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
Work collaboratively with the wider teaching and pastoral team
