Enabling access to therapies for Residents on a regular basis. Liaising with the Resident and the Care Team about activities that Residents can participate in. Conducting meetings with Residents and / or their relatives, friends and carers about individual Resident s interests and hobbies, especially regarding those who may not be able to express themselves. Consulting with Residents about interests and preferences for outings, entertainment, and social events. Organising and co-ordinating celebrations Arranging for outside entertainers to visit the home Maintaining our activities equipment Requirements for the Activities & well-being team manager role: Enthusiastic, organised and creative individuals to work as a member of our friendly team delivering high standards of activities to our residents. Good basic IT skills: outlook, word, excel Previous experience in the role would be an advantage Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage: Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent. Hours: Part time - 16 hours per week. Will include weekend shifts as part of a rota. PAY As an employee (21 years ) from 12.60 per hour 10% enhancement at weekends 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
