<div><h3>Job overview</h3><p>Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Core in Trauma and Orthopaedics.</p><p>This post is based in the Cambridge Movement Surgical Hub (CMSH), to commence 05 August 2026 until 03 August 2027.</p><p>As the regional referral centre and Level 1 Major Trauma Centre, we offer a full range of adult and paediatric elective and trauma services. We are a busy unit, well‑supported with Nurse Practitioners and Orthogeriatricians with many research and audit opportunities. Previous fellows have achieved a high conversion rate to CT and Specialist Training programmes.</p><h3>Main duties of the job</h3><p>This role will work as part of the Trauma & Orthopaedic surgical team here at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will consist of a mixture of ward based and emergency care. There will be opportunities for the post holder to participate in clinics and attend theatre alongside senior colleagues.</p><p>In order to be considered for this role applicants must have completed a foundation programme or equivalent and have a minimum of 12 months NHS experience.</p><p>Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean’s approval or training recognition.</p><p>Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.</p><h3>Working for your organisation</h3><p>The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
