Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with experience in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of care plans, and the ability to manage a team effectively while ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Manage staff recruitment, training, and supervision to foster a supportive and efficient work environment.
* Ensure proper medication administration and monitor residents' health conditions regularly.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support for residents' physical and emotional well-being.
* Maintain accurate records of resident care and staff performance, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Promote a positive atmosphere within the home that encourages social interaction and engagement among residents.
Experience
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Background in nursing or senior care management is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with strong leadership capabilities.
* Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and medication administration practices is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff members.
