Hays are working with a well‑established IT services provider who are growing their presence across Northern Ireland. The business has recently expanded through acquisition. They are now seeking an experienced Account Director to support their continued growth in the region.
Your new role
As Account Director, you will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of key clients across Northern Ireland, ensuring they receive excellent service and long‑term support. You will also be a key driver of new business activity, identifying opportunities to introduce additional services and build new relationships.
On a day‑to‑day basis, you will:
1. Stay close to your clients, understanding their needs and plans
2. Spot opportunities to grow revenue through additional services
3. Meet with senior contacts and present solutions confidently
4. Coordinate with internal technical teams to deliver a first‑class service
5. Keep your pipeline and CRM updated to support accurate forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
6. Background in IT services, managed services or technical solutions
7. Strong awareness of the Northern Ireland technology market
8. Proven success in building trusted client relationships
9. Ability to manage existing accounts while developing new opportunities
10. Confidentmunicator with strongmercial judgment
11. Self‑motivated andfortable working in a fast‑moving environment
