This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position based in Belfast. The Position In the role of Banking Analyst, you will be instrumental in protecting the interests of both Personal and Corporate clients by supporting anti-financial crime efforts and regulatory compliance. Your duties will involve: Performing customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) to confirm identity and assess risk exposure. Investigating account activity for irregular or suspicious transactions. Ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering legislation and internal procedures. Assessing and maintaining accounts across the risk spectrum. Preparing and submitting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) where applicable. Engaging with customers to collect additional documentation or clarify missing data. The Ideal Applicant Essential Requirements: Experience in a customer-facing role within banking or financial services. Excellent communication and discretion when dealing with sensitive matters. Competent in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge or background in fraud detection or AML/KYC operations. Desirable Experience: Previous banking sector experience. Familiarity with financial crime prevention or fraud risk management. Handling of corporate or commercial client portfolios.
