Dennison Bodyshop, part of the Dennison Group, has unrivalled capabilities within Northern Ireland for commercial vehicle accident repair. We are currently seeking a Full Time Vehicle Damage Assessor, reporting to the Bodyshop Manager, to fulfil the following:

About The Role
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out estimates for vehicle repair accurately and to an acceptable standard of detail. Most estimates required would be opinion based and training would be given
2. Sending estimates to customers in a timely manner and agreeing and gaining authorisation for repairs
3. Provide updates to the team/customer on current stages of the estimate status
4. Ordering and checking in parts for vehicle repair
5. Allocating parts to the correct job within the Bodyshop
6. Updating and processing any supplementary requests
7. Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales
8. You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.
9. Ad hoc duties as requested by Bodyshop Manager

Desired Criteria
Previous experience of liaising with insurance companies would be desirable
Previous experience using an Emacs Bodyshop Management System would be desirable
Required Criteria
1. Possess demonstrable technical experience of repairs within a Bodyshop environment in the above listed areas (light or heavy vehicle)
2. Insist on the highest quality of workmanship
3. Be flexible in your approach
4. Possess a valid driving license
5. Work with safety in mind at all times
6. Be self-motivated, proactive and have the ability to work on their own initiative
7. Have the ability to prioritise effectively and be highly organised
8. Have a responsible and methodical attitude to work
9. Have a willingness to undertake further development as required to benefit impact of the role
