Community IV Therapy Nurse
Location: Kirklees (Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton, Mirfield)Rates: £17 - £34 per hour plus mileage
Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality IV therapy in the community? We’re looking for a Band 5 Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive Community IV Therapy Team in Kirklees.
This is a full-time temporary role until January 2026, offering the opportunity to make a real difference to patients across the region.
?? What You’ll Be Doing
* Delivering IV therapies to patients in their own homes, clinics, and care homes.
* Managing central venous access devices (PICC lines, Mid Lines, Cannulas).
* Supporting early discharge from hospital through the OPAT (Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy) pathway.
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across primary and secondary care.
? Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Experience in community nursing and IV antibiotic administration.
* Confident using SystmOne.
* Skilled in managing CVADs and venepuncture.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
?? Working Hours
* 37.5 hours per week across a 7-day service.
* Shifts: 08:00–16:00 or 13:00–21:00 (late shifts required 1–2 times per week).
* Weekend working is shared across the team.
