We are looking to recruit a Commercial Lead specialising in Supplier Relationship Management and Contract Management who will lead the behavioural change required to maximise relationship and operational effectiveness of our Gold/Silver contracts, working within the Commercial and wider TPR governance framework of processes and procedures. Be responsible for implementing central TPR policy and direction for supplier management strategy & framework across all parts of TPR. Provide leadership, direction and SRM subject matter expertise to colleagues across the organisation. Be responsible for working with the Head of Commercial and Facilities to deliver value add from SRM initiatives for TPR. Lead and motivate the TPR Supplier Relationship Management team. Have responsibility for monitoring and managing risk across the TPR supply chain and ensuring that arrangements are in place to appropriately protect TPR from these risks whilst delivering optimum value from the supply chain. Provide expertise and act as the subject matter expert within the field of Supplier and Contract Management. Implement robust SRM management reporting to demonstrate how TPR is extracting performance and value from all Gold/Silver strategic suppliers. Professional Membership/Experience: MCIP's [Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply] / IACCM [International Association for Contract and Commercial Management] or equivalent qualification. Government Commercial Function Accreditation in Contract Management at Practitioner/Expert level is desirable. Work Experience: extensive practical business awareness gained from significant experience of related work from either the public or private sector. Procurement Legislation: In-depth breadth of specialised knowledge of Public Procurement directives, principles, and UK specific legislation. Commercial acumen: solid understanding of economic factors which will impact on market sectors and approaches to minimise cost pressures and reduce commercial risk. Leadership: Ability to influence multi-functional teams in developing and delivering the most appropriate commercial strategies and solutions. Stakeholder Management: extensive experience of liaising, consulting, and meeting with key stakeholders to understand business drivers and short-, medium- and long-term goals. Influencing / communication: ability to interpret a range of differing priorities and influence the outcome across a range of senior - explain complex problems and issues in a concise and understandable way. Entrepreneurship: identify and balance risks / benefits and take appropriate actions to deliver the most beneficial outcomes.
