The role:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Management Team within eHealth, Operations, NHSGGC as we seek to recruit a Technical Analyst.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities, not exhaustive.
1. Installation of IT equipment across all GGC sites
2. Scheduling / Building and Delivering requested equipment
3. Managing IT Helpdesk tickets
4. Updating systems with all relevant information
5. Prioritise and manage workload
The role will have some manual labour for the candidate.
The role will require the candidate to travel between sites on a regular basis.
Manual Driver licence essential to role.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
* Location based in Dava street.
* Permanent contract.
* Full‑time Position (36 hours per week).
* Shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700.
Key responsibilities:
* Provides support to service desk calls as allocated to referral Group
* Takes forward installations, moves and changes, site audits as required
* Maintains configuration management database and documentation as relates to service area
* Perform routine administration tasks including account management, software licence management and strict monitoring of anti‑virus software
* Carries out hardware and software upgrades, device rebuilds, data destruction
* To carry out any other such reasonable and appropriate duties as may be required from time to time.
* Ensure a safe working environment and safe work systems.
Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
* The Junior Desktop Analyst should be educated to HNC level or equivalent or have previous eHealth experience within the specialist area.
* The post holder should have an appreciation of the business requirements of the NSS and combine this knowledge with finely tuned customer relation skills.
