Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Greenkeeper in planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of golf course grounds, including turfgrass care, irrigation, and landscaping
Carry out all usual Greenkeeping tasks
Supervise and coordinate the work of greenkeeping staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards
Assist with inventory management for maintenance supplies and equipment
Monitor turf health and pest control programs, making recommendations for improvement as needed
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices in turfgrass management
Requirements:
Previous experience in golf course maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred
Knowledge of turfgrass care and maintenance practices, including irrigation systems and pest control
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
Ability to operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Relevant certifications or qualifications in greenkeeping or turfgrass management preferred
