Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of our facility and ensuring the highest standards of care and service are maintained. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for working with children. The Deputy Manager will assist in developing care plans and fostering a nurturing environment for all children under our supervision.
Responsibilities:
*Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
*Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to the individual needs of children.
*Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare practices.
*Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies to promote collaboration and transparency.
*Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care and education provided to children.
*Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
*Support the training and development of staff members to enhance their skills in childcare practices.
*Ensure that the facility is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times.
Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a managerial within a childcare setting is preferred.
*Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
*Experience in developing care plans that cater to diverse needs is highly desirable.
*Proficient IT skills for managing records and documentation efficiently.
*A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children when necessary.
*A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment
