Senior Mental Health Practitioner - Mental Health Liaison
Join Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in this Senior Mental Health Liaison role at Salisbury CAMHS, supporting acute district general hospital services in Salisbury.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Liaison Lead to deliver hospital liaison services, providing day-to-day liaison and clinical support.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of young people presenting at the acute District General Hospital, including risk assessment and management.
* Participate in the Thrive model modernisation and redesign, ensuring children and young people receive timely, place-based support.
* Complete a comprehensive induction programme, shadowing opportunities, ongoing in-house training and external training sessions.
* Receive regular managerial, professional, peer, clinical and safeguarding supervision, building confidence and competence.
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.
* Experience working with children, young people and their families in a mental health setting.
* Strong clinical assessment skills and risk management ability.
