Purpose of the position
The role ensures high-quality products are delivered according to specifications, supporting all manufacturing stages, primarily from cloth cutting to assembly, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Accountability
The role is responsible for product integrity and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Safety: Use and maintain tools safely and promote a safety culture.
* Quality: Produce products to standard and complete documentation accurately and promptly.
* Cost: Work within standard hours, minimize waste, and maximize productivity.
* Delivery: Meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
* People: Align with company values and support colleagues.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify improvement opportunities and adapt to change.
Tasks
* Understand material properties and efficiently cut cloth to size.
* Laminate products using appropriate techniques.
* Set up and perform resin infusion when applicable.
* Ensure vacuum integrity during bagging and consolidation.
* Trim and drill composite materials accurately.
* Assemble products using fasteners and adhesives.
* Prepare tools and release parts, ensuring cleanliness and FOD-free mold tools.
* Complete documentation accurately and timely.
* Follow technical drawings, instructions, and diagrams.
* Communicate issues and contribute to production flow.

Requirements
* Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related fields, preferably with composites.
* Proficiency with hand tools and working from instructions.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education & Experience
* Good educational background.
* Experience in process-driven production environments and assembly.

* Ability to work at Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire.
