We are currently recruiting care professionals for a Community Outreach Service for Children, Young People and Families in Manchester. Role: You will be providing support to children and young people with variety of emotional, physical and educational needs. Working with the families in their own homes as well as educational settings, your aim will be to prevent escalation into the care system. As a Senior Support Worker, you will use Positive Behaviour Support to ensure all needs of the children and young people are met. You will provide guidance and support to your team members, acting in a supervisory capacity and supporting the Manager. You will work a variety of shifts, on a rota basis, with evening and weekend work required. Requirements: You will have previous experience of working with children and young people, specifically within Learning Disabilities, and must demonstrate the below: QCF Level 3/4 in Children, Young People and Family's Practitioner Qualification (or equivalent) A passion for providing high quality care Excellent communication skills Friendly, caring and considerate nature Resilience and adaptability Must be reliable and able to commit to at least 4 shifts per week Willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check Full UK Driving License is essential to the nature of the role Rewards You will be rewarded with a salary of £27,590 per annum.
