People Operations Assistant
We are currently recruiting for an organised and people‑focused People Operations Assistant to join a growing HR function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to develop their HR and recruitment experience within a supportive team.
The Role:
You'll be involved in every stage of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to onboarding and day‑to‑day HR support. This is a home‑based position, but you'll visit sites occasionally to support managers and colleagues as needed.
*Candidates must be based in Wiltshire or Hampshire.
Package Details:
£28,000 + IT equipment + mobile phone
Home based with occasional site visits
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the full recruitment process: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews and onboarding
Writing job adverts and liaising with internal teams and recruitment agencies
Maintaining the applicant tracking system and HR inbox
Preparing HR documentation and updating employee records accurately
Acting as the first point of contact for staff queries
Supporting employee relations admin (disciplinary, grievance, performance)
Processing payroll updates and coordinating with Finance
Producing HR reports with a high level of accuracy
Supporting engagement, wellbeing and DE&I initiativesWhat we're looking for:
Strong admin background with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator who can build positive working relationships
Good understanding of HR processes and confidentiality
Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
