Your new role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment. You'll work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems-responding to breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and supporting upgrades and installations.Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting planned and reactive maintenance across various systems
* Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
* Supporting equipment installations, relocations, and modifications
* Maintaining accurate records and inventory
* Ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting 5S principles
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimise downtime
Shift pattern:Continental 12-hour shifts:
* 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm)
* 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am)
What you'll need to succeed
* NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds qualification with a completed apprenticeship
* Minimum 1 year post-apprenticeship experience in a maintenance role
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Effective communication and time management
* A proactive, adaptable approach to problem-solving
