Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate dog lovers to provide exceptional care for pets in a doggy day centre. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage various pet care tasks. Responsibilities
* Attend to the daily needs of pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as required.
* Provide companionship and playtime to ensure pets remain happy and engaged.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets by cleaning up after them and ensuring their living areas are tidy.
* Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behaviour, health, and any concerns that may arise during care.
* Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
* Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pet supplies or assisting larger animals.
* Keep accurate records of pet care routines and any special instructions from pet owners.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in animal care settings is highly desirable.
* Strong customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of certain pets or supplies.
* A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
* Excellent communication skills to provide updates and address any concerns with pet owners.
* Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate various pet care needs, including weekends or holidays if required.
