You will be working as Competitive Pricing Analyst or Manager and will be part of Process Automation business area for Energy Industries division based in Pune, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Strategic Pricing Manager and you will be primarily responsible for analyzing pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends, competitors and reporting data to decision-makers, such as product and pricing management. Providing comparisons of products and price levels within the market space. Your responsibilities Understanding products and services offered by ABB PAEN, mapping it to what the competition has to offer, capturing, providing business and competitive intelligence in relation to commercial deal terms and structures Conducting extensive research and analyzing to identify market trends, new business opportunities, client needs, competitor strategies, evaluating competitive threats and working with business teams to develop appropriate strategies Creating an in-depth competitor dossier, including price points, expansion plans, market position, promotions and product gaps for business customers Developing and managing intelligence tools to support mapping of customers and prospecting to market sectors using research-based signals Collecting and organizing data on the products, services, prices and promotions of competitors in the process automation industry. Conducting benchmarking and trend analysis to evaluate the competitive position and performance of their company Collaborating with sales, marketing, product development, finance teams to provide pricing guidance and recommendations.
