About the role
An opportunity has arisen to join the IT function within this fast-paced logistics environment to assist the delivery of the IT Change Management process. The IT Change Coordinator is a key role within the IT Team and will be expected to manage smaller scale IT infrastructure changes and act as IT work-stream lead on business projects alongside maintaining service levels in the IT support environment.
Additionally, the IT Change Coordinator will form an essential point of contact to establish and support new products and processes being developed and launched.
The IT Change Coordinator is required to work within Service Delivery and act as a point of engagement on a daily basis for support and project teams. They will be responsible for performing risk and conflict assessments and prioritizing key activities with stakeholders across the business and 3rd parties.
Main Responsibilities
8. Act as the interface between business representatives and technical resource for change communication ensuring all stakeholders are aware of the scheduling coordination and communication of change and to manage expectation.
9. Identify potential risks and conflicts prior to a deployment and ensure all necessary checks are carried out before implementation
10. Establish and document business and IT requirements
11. Assist in solution evaluation and recommendation to business
12. Plan change across all environments, schedule coordinate, and manage end to end change through the development and support lifecycle
13. Production of test packs and ensure all hardware and software changes are auditable
14. System testing and assisting with user acceptance testing
15. Developing and maintaining project plans
16. Identify and secure internal (and external) resource for change
17. Management of third-party suppliers to implement change and to agreed service levels.
18. Provide 2nd line support of IT service provision and application high severity issues and major incidents to ensure issue resolution.
19. Coordinating 3rd parties to identify and address security vulnerabilities
20. Producing test scripts, testing, and managing installations into the live environments.
21. Coordinating new user setup including Asset and License Management
22. Escalating high severity issues in accordance with process to ensure a timely resolution
23. Attending meetings from time to time, either onsite or at an alternative location
24. Identifying and addressing slippage, issues or risks. escalating where necessary to Management
25. Ensure sound and timely handover to the IT Change team and to operational teams.
26. Ensure all change documentation is produced, stored and distributed appropriately
27. Monitor spend against budget and gain appropriate sign off
28. Support the business with out of hours support for critical issues on a rota basis

Desired Skills:
38. Experience of Project Management within an IT environment
39. Experience of working within the Logistics industry would be an advantage
40. Knowledge of ITIL service support principles
41. Good training and presentation skills
42. Good technical appreciation
43. Knowledge of applications used within Best Food Logistics
Education or Equivalent Experience:
44. Recognised accreditation in Project Management (eg Prince, Agile) would be an advantage
45. Recognised accreditation in ITIL would be an advantage
