Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Goods Inwards Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £27,000 per year Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of their client in Slough for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team in a temp to perm role for the right candidate. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods inwards, stock control, and general warehouse duties. Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles for inbound goods. Booking items into stock systems using barcode scanners and assigning them to storage locations. Ensuring all items are scanned correctly on arrival/departure, with any discrepancies reported to the relevant team within 2 hours. Reporting damaged or faulty goods to the customer service department. Keeping stock organized and stored correctly in designated areas, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment across the warehouse, including outdoor areas. Picking and packing daily orders when required. Completing general administrative tasks as needed. Performing daily checks on Flexi forklift and scissor lift equipment. Any faults must be reported and logged with maintenance providers, with major issues escalated to management. Conducting regular safety checks of racking and ensuring fire exits are kept clear. Supporting the wider warehouse team as required.
