Teaching Personnel are working with a well-respected and loving primary school based in the heart of Salisbury, dedicated to providing a caring and inspiring environment where children can thrive. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a close-knit staff who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster independence.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience teaching in EYFS and/or KS1
* Demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood development
* Builds strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Plans and delivers engaging and creative lessons
* Has high expectations for all learners
* Show effective classroom management, teaching and planning
* Is able to monitor, assess, record and report
Other professional requirements:
* QTS qualification and other relevant qualifications
* Be willing to update and enhance their skills through professional development
* Participate in school meetings
* Uphold school policies and procedures
* Have a valid enhanced child only DBS which is on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
