What you'll do
Reporting to the HR Manager, youll help keep the HR function running smoothly. Youll provide guidance to around 300 employees and managers across three sites in North Essex and South Suffolk, covering everything from employee relations to recruitment. Youll also get involved in HR projects and initiatives.
When it comes to employee relations, youll handle processes from end to end, including investigations and absence management. Youll also support flexible working requests and advise managers on complex cases, working closely with Occupational Health when needed.
Staying up to date with employment legislation will be key, as youll recommend policy changes and draft contracts, variation letters, and other HR documents.
Youll also help maintain and improve the HR system, Employment Hero, which has been a positive step towards automating much of the administrative HR processes and contribute to enhancing the overall employee experience through projects in areas like engagement and talent attraction.
What you'll need
CIPD Level 5 qualification
Solid experience in employee relations
A willingness to travel between sites
Great communication and interpersonal skills
