Office Manager (Construction)\nPrimarily Remote (1–2 Days/Week in Shoreditch/London)\n£45,000 – £55,000\n\nA high-end construction contractor delivering beautifully executed projects across London are looking for an Office Manager. Known for their attention to detail and strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, we’re now looking for a proactive and highly organised Office Manager to support our expanding operations.\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a key position in our business, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys variety in their day. You’ll be working remotely the majority of the time, with 1–2 days a week required on-site in Shoreditch or other London project locations.\n\nYou’ll be central to keeping our team organised and efficient, supporting the founder directly, liaising with our external finance and Project Management teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Provide direct support to the founder, including attending meetings, taking notes, and providing action-oriented follow-ups.\n\n * \n\n Diary and calendar management, booking meetings, and ensuring schedules run smoothly.\n\n * \n\n Liaise with external accountants, HR consultants, and payroll providers.\n\n * \n\n Maintain and manage internal systems, including Xero, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Teams, and CRM/task management tools\n\n * \n\n Coordinate company meetings and organise team socials or events.\n\n * \n\n Assist with general administration and documentation across HR, finance, and project delivery.\n\n * \n\n Help improve systems and processes to support a growing and ambitious team.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Construction industry experience is essential.\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and time-management skills.\n\n * \n\n Confident using Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Xero.\n\n * \n\n Experience with task or CRM software\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\n * \n\n Professional, proactive, and self-motivated — able to work independently.\n\n * \n\n Based within commutable distance to Shoreditch/London for weekly on-site days.\n\nContract Details\n\n * \n\n Self-employed full time role – you’ll invoice weekly.\n\n * \n\n £45,000–£55,000 per year depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Primarily remote with 1–2 in-person days per week in London
