* About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Leeds, to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Maths Teacher. This is a full-time position starting in September and is to cover a long-term requirement within the Maths department.

Key Responsibilities
o Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential Key Stage 5 depending on experience).
o Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
o Assess, monitor and report on student progress, adapting teaching where necessary to ensure all learners are supported.
o Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where pupils are encouraged to excel.
o Prepare students for GCSE assessments, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
o Contribute to the wider Maths department by collaborating on curriculum development and sharing best practices.
o Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions and school events as required.
o Uphold high standards of classroom behaviour and demonstrate consistent classroom management.
Requirements
o Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
o A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
o Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
o Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for mathematics education.
o Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
o A commitment to inclusive education and raising achievement for all learners.
o Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
