Overview
A specialist in one or more of the following areas including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, metal work, welding, building and equipment maintenance and repair or any combination of these skills. The engineer performs the assigned maintenance, repair, or construction functions under the direction of the Lead Facilities Technician.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the casino facilities and equipment as directed.
* Moving of, setting up of, and breaking down of tables, chairs, displays, decorations and temporary lighting, signs, and promotional devices.
* Repairs and replace lights, bulbs, plugs, outlets, switches, fixtures, equipment, and parts as needed.
* Performs all work in a safe manner.
* Works closely with Team Members and supervisors of the gaming operation.
* Assists guests or politely directs them to a Team Member or department who can answer their questions or assist them.

* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
* Must hold a valid California driver's license and meet the insurance requirements of Chumash Enterprises.
* Forklift Scissor and Boom Operator Certification within the first year.
* Must participate and completerequiredongoingdepartmental training.
* Two years of prior experience as a specialist in the designated field.
* Ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment.
* Basic Mechanical and electrical ability and understanding is required.
* Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
* Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
* Native American hiring preference applies.
